The actress is a “strong contender” but her hero Emraan is none too happy about it

Six years after scorching the screen in Murder, Emraan Hashmi and Mallika Sherawat are expected to reunite for the sequel. Mohit Suri will direct.

A source from producer Vishesh Films says, “Since her return from Los Angeles, the actress has been frequenting the Bhatts’ office in Juhu. 

She’s keen on being in the Murder sequel. Currently, talks are on. Though the Bhatts are being tight-lipped about it Mallika is apparently doing Murder 2. They are waiting for the right time to break the news to Emraan.”

The source adds, “After Murder, producers Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt and the film’s lead hero Emraan had been very upset with Mallika for telling the media that she was solely responsible for the success of the film. Read More…

The famous MMS scandal of 2004 involving the two school-going teenagers is used as a sub-plot by Anurag Kashyap in his film Dev. D the contemporary version of historic novel ‘Devdas’.

Kalki Koechlin , the newbie who is Chandramukhi in the movie, gets to play the character based on that young girl.

According to the official site, the movie has character named Leni who is a rich spoilt girl with hyperactive hormones. And after getting involved in MMS sex scandal, she is abandoned by her family and becomes a recluse. Later on she meets a pimp, Chunni.
